Kingdom Common Grounds

We envision a coffee house named Kingdom Common Grounds where dreams are brewed, hopes rise… It’s where people share their gifts and talents to experience the abundance of life.

Let me share my experience: I have served 20 years in ministry, 7 churches during that period, journeying across the United States from Texas to California to New York and back to California. I have planted homeless ministry in all 7 churches, a food pantry in 4, and prison ministry in 3 of those churches. I have incorporated an outreach ministry called Kingdom Ministries throughout the Christian calendar year to connect with the local communities. For example, on October 31st, we host the Kingdom Autumn Festival to create a safe ground for neighboring children and parents to experience Christian-themed Halloween. On the fourth Thursday of Nov, we invite the local seniors, widows, and homeless friends to our Kingdom Thanksgiving Feast to share a top-notch Thanksgiving luncheon and entertainment for all. Then, on December 25th, Christmas, we host the Kingdom Christmas Banquet for the homeless community, providing them with Worship & Foot Washing, Christmas Meal, Personal Gifts that they had requested, and a Reseda Got Talent show. Throughout the year, we also prepare Kingdom Care Packages full of goodies, hygiene items, and personal gifts to cover the needs of various groups of people, from seniors in assisted living to men/women in the streets.

Kingdom Community Food Pantry is a seeding ministry for Kingdom Common Grounds, and on average, this farmer’s market-style food pantry serves over 500 people weekly to offset the 70,000 cases of homelessness that LA County experienced this year, with 20,000 being sheltered daily.

We currently partner with Rescue Mission, LA Family Housing, Dignity Health, and seven other non-profit organizations to meet the needs.

Currently, we provide mobile showers, health clinics, hot meals, free clothes, and counseling for their immediate needs. For the coming days, we have a laundromat, hair salon, community garden, and much more in the works!

So our vision is set for Kingdom Common Grounds… as you can see in our powerpoint presentation (i.e., entryway, inside, backyard…).

Will you partner with us to see our dream come true?
