Christian Jung is a 1.5 generation, “bilingual and bicultural” Korean American, born and raised in Korea, yet educated in the United States since age twelve. Growing up in a transcultural and transgenerational context, he has gained solid ground in conflict management skills.

Christian has worked closely with the people on the margins through various ministerial settings, such as the homeless, prostitutes, and inmates.

He is a Provisional Member (Elder) in the California-Pacific Conference of the United Methodist Church. Christian holds a BA in Telecommunication from Baylor University and a MDiv from Perkins School of Theology, Southern Methodist University.

He has pastored churches in North Texas and Cal- Pac Conferences and is currently appointed as the lead pastor of the First UMC of Reseda, California.

He is married to Angella and has a daughter Sarah and a son Christian J.
